Welcome to the July 10, 2023, edition of Watching This Week, the weekly newsletter from Where Can I Watch – covering the latest news on where TV shows and movies will be available in Canada.

As mentioned in late June, most of our newsletters in July and August will be abbreviated summer editions, focused on providing updated listings for each week. There will be a monthly roundup for August; otherwise, full-length newsletters will return in September.

What's new this week – July 10–16

This week in deals

As a reminder, we may get an affiliate commission for services you sign up for through links in this newsletter, which helps support our site maintenance, at no additional cost to you. Prices are in Canadian dollars before applicable sales taxes, and may change in the future.

  • In connection with Amazon.ca's annual Prime Day event, which takes place this Tuesday and Wednesday, deals on Prime Video include channels like StackTV and Citytv+ being available for 99¢ a month for two months, and discounted prices to rent or buy selected films. These deals are on now but end on Wednesday.

Some services – particularly those available as Prime Video channels – are also offering deals directly over the same timeframe, such as Paramount+ offering 50% off ($4.99 per month) for three months.
