Where can I watch “Kevin Can F**k Himself” in Canada?

Kevin Can F**k Himself – yes, that seems to be the official title, asterisks and all – is a comedy-drama series starring Annie Murphy, best known for her role as Alexis Rose on Schitt's Creek, as a wife trying to break free from her seemingly sitcom-style life.

The first season of the series originally aired in Canada on AMC on Sundays from June 20 to August 1, 2021. Episodes were available on demand through most providers, such as through Rogers on Demand, for a limited time, but are not currently available as of this update in March 2022.

Additionally, the series was briefly available in Canada through AMC's streaming service AMC+. In the United States, Kevin Can F**k Himself actually premiered one week ahead of its TV premiere – on Sunday, June 13 – on AMC+ (as in "AMC Plus"), however the streaming service was not available in Canada at the time, finally launching on August 13, 2021, at which point the full season was available.

However, barely a month later in late September 2021, we were notified by a reader that the series had disappeared from AMC+ in Canada shortly before. At the time, we were surprised by the move as the show was produced directly by AMC Studios, without any other distributors involved that we're aware of.

In February 2022, we learned that Kevin Can F**k Himself would again be available in Canada through Prime Video, the Amazon streaming service, beginning on Friday, March 18. We can confirm that the first full season is now available on that service.

Prime Video is only available in Canada as part of Amazon Prime, the online retailer's membership program, for $7.99 per month or $79 per year, plus taxes, with a 30-day free trial available for first-time subscribers in most provinces.

Alternatively, the season is available for purchase through digital retailers, such as through the Apple TV / iTunes Store.

AMC has announced there will only be one further season of Kevin Can F**k Himself, likely to premiere later in 2022. We expect that those season 2 episodes will again be available through both the AMC cable channel and the AMC+ streaming service in Canada, at least for a limited time.

AMC+ is available in Canada as an $8.99 per month "channel" through Prime Video (which also requires an Amazon Prime subscription) and the Apple TV app (which does not require another subscription like Apple TV+). A 30-day free trial is AMC+ available through both Apple and Amazon. Note that some other programs available on AMC+ in the U.S. are not available here due to conflicting program rights.
