Where can I watch "Free Guy" in Canada?

Free Guy, the 2021 sci-fi comedy film about a non-player character in a video game who unexpectedly becomes the hero of the story, starring Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, and Taika Waititi, was released in North American theatres on August 13, 2021 by 20th Century Studios, after several delays related to the coronavirus pandemic.

Unlike many other movies that came out in 2021, including several released by 20th Century's parent company Disney, Free Guy was initially only available in cinemas, and did not have a day-and-date streaming or premium video on demand (PVOD) release. However, following about 45 days of theatrical exclusivity, Disney / 20th Century has rapidly increased the options available for audiences to watch Free Guy at home, including in Canada.

On September 29, 2021, Free Guy became available to stream on Disney+, as part of its Star mature programming offering. Star, including access to Free Guy, is included in Canada at no additional charge with a subscription to the Disney+ streaming service, which in Canada currently costs $11.99 per month, or $119.99 per year when billed annually (all prices in this article are before applicable sales taxes).

Alternatively, on February 4, 2022, Free Guy became available on Crave, the Bell Media streaming service, pricing for which starts at $9.99 per month for its "Crave Mobile" plan which now includes access to all content on a single mobile device or web browser at up to 720p quality. (The "Crave Total" plan, which supports larger devices like smart TVs, costs $19.99 per month.) Crave had a pre-existing output relationship with 20th Century Studios; following Disney's acquisition of 20th and launch of Disney+, it has apparently restructured this agreement to allow some recent films to be available early on Disney+ while still eventually becoming available on Crave.

Finally, since October 12, 2021, Free Guy has been available to rent or purchase digitally without a streaming subscription. As of this writing, the film is being offered to rent for around $6.99 for a 48-hour rental, or purchase for about $24.99, through the following digital and on-demand retailers:
